How much does a monthly room rental cost?

Monthly stays on Hellostay currently cost RM800 to RM1,200 a month across 7 listings. For stays longer than three months, some hosts set a lower monthly rate, from RM650 a month on the current listings. The booking page shows your total before you send a request.

Is there a deposit for a monthly stay?

Stays longer than three months carry a refundable deposit on listings that set one, RM300 on the current listings. You pay it with the first month's rent and it is refunded after checkout. Stays of up to three months have no deposit.

What is the minimum stay for a monthly rental?

One month. You choose a check-in date and the number of months, from 1 to 36, and the check-out date is set for you. Rent is billed month by month while you stay, not paid upfront in one lump sum.

How do I request a monthly stay?

Open a listing, choose the long stay option, pick your check-in date and number of months, then send a booking request. Nothing is charged yet. The host reviews and approves it, then you pay the first month's rent, plus the deposit where one applies, to receive your key.

Can I view the room before I rent it?

Yes. Monthly listings that are not currently occupied have an Ask to view first button. Pick a day and time that suits you and the host confirms the viewing with you. Asking to view costs nothing and does not commit you to booking.
